While urban education is not a unique issue to Memphis, our city is leading with unique solutions. All eyes are on our city, and Memphis is proving what’s possible on a national scale. With the local education landscape evolving rapidly, what are the most important steps we have taken and where do we go from here?
Join us for Celebrate What’s Right: The State of Education in partnership with Chalkbeat Tennessee on June 6 to hear from those leading in education – from policy makers to principals – on the successes and struggles in Memphis classrooms, and what innovations are pushing public education forward. Do a Little Good Over Lunch
We will be collecting gently used men’s suits for Memphis Suit Project at the Celebrate What’s Right luncheon on June 6. Suits and professional attire in good condition will be collected at the door. We will also collect women’s professional attire for the Memphis Chapter of Dress for Success. All donations are tax deductible, and you will receive a donation receipt when you drop off your donation. Have questions? Email Megan Carolan.
